The Global 8000will have a top speed of 0.94 MACH (1,161 KM/H) (721 MPH)- The fastest of any civil aircraft since Concorde. The Global 8000 test aircraft reached a top speed of Mach 1.01 in-flight testing (while being powered on Sustainable Aviation Fuel SAF) and this was confirmed by a NASA chase plane. In this next-generation Global costing over USD 73 Million, there is the option of adding an on-master suite which includes a permanent bed and true stand-up shower.
There is heavy competition from Gulfstream’s G700 and Dassault’s Falcon 10X will soon enter the market.
The Dassault Falcon 10X and Gulfstream G700 are the two main competitors to the Global 7500 in the ultra long range market.
The Dassault Falcon 10X and Gulfstream G700 will both have a range of 7500NM while the Bombardier Global 7500 will exceed this range by 200NM to a maximum range of 7,700 NM. In addition, the Global 7500 has a list price of USD 73 million compared to the G700 and Falcon 10X which are priced at approximately USD 75 million new.
